Anna Lussier is an MD-PhD Student at the UCSD School of Medicine and the UCSD-SDSU Joint Doctoral Program in Global Public Health. She is a researcher with the Lindholm Lab within the UCSD Department of Emergency Medicine, and her current work focuses on the intersection of global health and the marine environment. Her areas of interest include migratory drowning and marine migration-associated injuries, the health risks of the marine environment, and the impacts on EMS and health systems as they respond to border-associated trauma. When she's not working she prefers to be in, on, or under the water, traveling, or trying to learn to order food in as many languages as possible.
